PROCTOR PARK FUNDRAISERS
AND VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL DEDICATION CEREMONY
Saturday, September 27th WELCOME HOME RIDE. This Ride will be to honor our Vietnam Veterans and give them the Welcome Home that they never received. The ride begins at Southside Harley Davidson and will end with dinner, music and the conclusion of our Silent Auction at the Johnson County Eagles. Registration can be done on line, by mail or in person at the New Whiteland Town Hall before September 24th. Registration will be open from 9 - 12 on Saturday, September 27th at Southside. As part of this special ride we will stop at Proctor Park for the 4:00 p.m. Dedication Ceremony of the new Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL DEDICATION CEREMONY
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH AT 4:00 P.M.
Please join us at Proctor Park at 4:00 p.m. as we dedicate our newest memorial. Representative Jim Baird will be our featured speaker. Representative Baird is a decorated Vietnam Veteran and currently serves as Indiana House Representative for District 44. There will be no parking allowed at Proctor Park on the afternoon of the dedication. Tracy Road will be closed from 25W to 75W from approximately 3 - 5 p.m. Parking will be available at either Break-O-Day Elementary School or the soccer field and shuttle buses will run from 3 - 6 p.m. Sawmill Woods parking lot will be used as a back up facility if necessary.
MOSQUITO FOGGING CHANGES
New Whiteland will no longer be fogging for mosquitos. Beginning in 2014 mosquito complaints will be investigated on a case by case basis. The source of the problem will be identified and treated / corrected. Residents need to routinely check their property to be sure there is no standing water which can serve as a breeding ground for mosquitos.

FREE WOOD CHIPS
The Town of New Whiteland has an excess of wood chips available for pickup at the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at
324 W 500 N (Whiteland Road). Chips may be picked up Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. until Noon or from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

LIMB DISPOSAL / DROP OFF
Effective immediately the Town is no longer accepting tree limbs at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Options available for limb disposal include:
1) Bundle the limbs in 3' lengths for Heavy Trash
pick up (the second pick up each month).
2) You may burn WOOD products ONLY
restrictions or conditions (see Ordinance 1084)
